LatentZero Hosts European User Group

New York, Toronto, London, 31st August 2005 - LatentZero, the leading provider of buy-side front office technology for the global asset management industry, has held its European user group for customers of its compliance management system, Capstone Sentinel.

The event was attended by forty users, representing some of the biggest global asset management firms. It was designed to enable Sentinel users to find out about new and future product development, discuss issues, compare notes and exchange experiences, and meet colleagues from different companies.

Alan Buddles, Head of Restrictions and Disclosures Unit at Gartmore Investments, and Chairman of the user group said: "The Sentinel User Group provides a real opportunity for members to share their ideas and experiences of Sentinel with each other and suggest potential developments to the application. It gives us the chance to influence its strategic direction, which means that the software will continue to respond to our needs. Attendees found it a very positive experience, and we're very much looking forward to meeting again at the next forum to discuss progress."

"Following on from the success of the Sentinel User Groups in both the UK and North America, we are planning similar events for users of Minerva, our order management system, and Tesseract, LatentZero's portfolio analysis and modeling solution. These will kick off with a trader roundtable for Minerva in September, with full User Groups planned for both products in the near future"

The Sentinel compliance management solution checks for client guidelines and regulatory rules in real-time, both pre and post-trade. It is capable of managing complex portfolios across all asset classes, and contains pre-configured rule libraries that cover every major regulator around the world. The solution provides vital information for portfolio and risk managers, helping them make the right decisions at the right time.
