Senior Appointments At LatentZero
New York, Toronto, London, 8th August 2005 - LatentZero, the leading provider of front-office technology to the buy-side, has appointed Gerry Gualtieri as Director of Global Sales to lead its continued expansion in North America and Europe, and to grow the company's presence in new global markets.
Gualtieri joins LatentZero after working for several years as an independent consultant and more than ten years at Thomson Financial, where he was a member of the European management team and responsible for launching and growing a number of flagship business units.
"I'm delighted to be joining such an exciting, and well respected company as LatentZero," commented Gualtieri on his appointment. "It clearly has the most ground-breaking and resilient products in the market, supported by the best technology, and is trusted by some of the biggest names in the industry. My job will be to ensure that list of names continues to grow. LatentZero is an innovating and stimulating company, full of smart people and a forward thinking management team. I'm looking forward to helping the company fulfil the potential of its technical offering."
Gualtieri's appointment follows on from the movement of Paul Charie to the newly created global role of Director of Client Management. Charie is responsible for client service and account management after the implementation of LatentZero's technology.
Commenting on his new job Charie said: "LatentZero is going through a period of carefully managed growth, which will be greatly enhanced by Gerry's appointment. I will be responsible for the ongoing stewardship of the clients, providing them with the ability to influence the strategic direction of our software. In addition, I'll be ensuring new clients enjoy a smooth transition into the LatentZero user base and give them the chance to interact with existing users on a regular basis."
"LatentZero has always prided itself on being ahead of the game when it comes to its future-proof technology with its open, flexible and message based architecture, and the excellence of its people. Gerry's unique blend of skills and experience can only enhance that reputation for excellence as we expand our markets and develop relationships with new clients. With Paul taking responsibility for ensuring the ongoing quality of those relationships we will be able to exceed client expectations and continue to deliver business value to some of the world's largest asset managers," explained Richard Jones, CEO, LatentZero.
Gualtieri and Charie will be supported in their roles by Gail Romano, who has been promoted to Director of North American Operations and Global Marketing.
