LatentZero Announces Interface with NYFIX

BOSTON - September 22, 2003 - LatentZero, a leading provider of front-office solutions for buy-side trade order management and compliance, today announced the introduction of connectivity between LatentZero's suite of front-office trading and compliance products with NYFIX.

The new interface with NYFIX provides LatentZero's buy-side clients with direct access to sell-side brokerages and exchanges, resulting in dramatically increased liquidity. Leveraging the global standard FIX (Financial Information eXchange) Protocol, LatentZero clients can route orders and programs to NYFIX for execution at one of NYFIX's more than 250 liquidity destinations. NYFIX connects to buy- and sell-side institutions, as well as multiple ECNs.

The integration also allows LatentZero clients to easily route "pass through" and "resting" orders into Millennium, NYFIX's anonymous real-time listed ATS, giving clients the opportunity to obtain price and liquidity improvement over the National Best Bid-Offer.

"Our interface with NYFIX is yet another way that we are offering our clients the next generation in best-of-breed front-office technology," said Bill Elbery, director, North American Sales and Marketing. "Our clients enjoy the industry's most advanced technology and functionality and the widest range of liquidity options."

In addition, LatentZero recently announced connectivity through Liquidnet, Lava Trading, Instinet and ITG.
