Broad content of Role:
This is an EMEA-wide role wi
thin the LatentZero division of the business. This role is responsible for engaging with prospective FLZ customers, understanding their requirements, configuring and conducting product demonstrations and responding to functional product questions. The Pre-Sales role is ideally suited to an individual who has an interest both in the business and product sides of the organisation.

Key Requirements:

  • Ability to present the LatentZero solutions to individuals and large groups of prospective business and IT users, communicating confidently and concisely under pressure
  • A background in the investment management industry (ideally on the buy-side), with a detailed knowledge of all aspects of the front office, workflows, and the relationships between different departments and organisations, as well as a working knowledge of different asset classes and their relevance and application within the investment management process
  • Ability to take a consultative approach with prospective customers, understand their requirements and conceive innovative solutions to these.
  • Ability to assess and, where appropriate, challenge these requirements, apply knowledge of industry best practices and configure our software applications to be able to demonstrate support for these practices
  • A broad background in sales, gained either with a software product company, a software house
  • Flexibility to allow for significant amounts of travel at short notice
  • Calmness under pressure and ability to maintain good humour



    Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Following a comprehensive analysis of a prospective client’s business and requirements, to perform initial product demonstrations in order to establish interest and define relevance of the solution.
  • Management of the RFI/RFP (Request For Information/Proposal) process including liaising with other departments to ensure accuracy of responses, answering functional and technical questions, and presenting the solution in the best possible light.
  • Detailed workshops in the London office or at the client site, mapping client requirements and potentially data very closely to the demonstration system. These presentations will be to large groups of people from all departments of the client organisation and will typically involve intensive preparation, lengthy presentations, and very complex questions which require accurate and informed answers.
  • Support for the sales person throughout the process, answering follow-up questions and attending follow-up meetings.
  • Occasionally writing or commenting on specifications to develop functionality to meet client requirements.
  • Internal demonstrations to educate other areas of Fidessa on the product, new developments, etc.
